![]() Oh, forgot to mention in addition to the black & orange colors, there are some which have a slightly translucent, greenish-black tint to them. The guy whom gave it to me said it was a bring-back from Nicaragua, and it exhibited moderate use and exposure to the elements. BTW, I did have a black bayo back in 2005 which was sans scabbard. I suspect the clips were either lost or discarded by guys whom bought Chinese AKs when they came NIB with the bayonet, sling, oiler, etc. These bayonets seldom have the belt clip. I began to wonder if others knew something I did not. This results in the bayonet going for over $100.00 when one turns up. ![]() They usually surface on Ebay with the seller(s) extolling the virtues of the bayonet having this "rare" frog attached. I have seen a few of these bayos with what resembles a yellow or tan colored, British pattern web frog.
